Confusion Matters
Confusion Matters!
Confusion, I find is one of the most underrated forces within our systems/nature.
Seems, the culture values direction and doesn't yet know how to embrace confusion
How do you feel when you're experiencing confusion?
Do you hide it? Do you want it to go away ? Do you try to figure it out ASAP?
Here's how I see confusion-
Confusion is the fertile ground for knowing to be birthed from
Confusion is the place where we can gain a deeper understanding of our systems
Confusion comes right before we experience a big AHA moment!
Confusion provides us an opportunity to better understand our values
However confusion can feel paralyzing, like a vortex that doesn't stop spinning
It can be painful and frustrating as we yearn for direction
While in confusion It can be challenging to know where to put your focus
These feelings are likely are the result of being unskilled at engaging with this place in ourselves
Perhaps we could learn to allow confusion in our systems
To acknowledge its presence and welcome it as a teacher
Could we see confusion as part of our essential nature?
From there, can we open to the parts in ourselves that hold paradox?
Can we ask questions internally to better understand the internal dilemma that's unfolding?
"Part of me wants to go with this, Yet there is another part that thinks that would cause more suffering"
What are each of those parts main goals? Main fears? Do they know they both exist inside YOU? Do they get that YOU’RE there listening and considering?
What do you think of confusion?
